The movement’s web site states that "There is not enough space to record the miraculous manifestation of God’s power in the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua. God’s river of life—salvation and all of God’s blessings—flow out from his innermost being to meet the needs of mankind. The miracles of Jesus Christ through Prophet T.B. Joshua are unlimited. They include the healing of HIV/AIDS, cancer, barrenness, deliverance from demonic spirits, restoration of sight to the blind, life to the limbs of the crippled and many others."

Charisma magazine and other Western and African periodicals have published critical articles on Joshua and his ministry. Charismatic journalist J. Lee Grady writes: "After being in his offices, talking with his zombielike followers, interviewing ex-members of his cult and watching videos of his bizarre methods (which include a form of magic writing), my own gut feelings confirmed what I had already been told by countless pastors in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and other cities: This man was not operating by the Holy Spirit’s power."

SCOAN evidently maintains a relationship with controversial "Rev. Prophet" Samuel Kakande of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Kampala, Uganda. ("He has visited and joined hands with strong churches and leaders like the Synagogue Church of ALL Nations, Lagos Nigeria with Prophet T.B Joshua as the General overseer.")
