JOHN DIVITO: CALLED TO SERVE IN UGANDA WITH HIS FAMILY OF SIX
Who am I and why is my family preparing to move to Uganda? As a
former Mormon who has been saved by God's grace, I know firsthand the
deceptiveness of false teaching. Ever since Christ drew me to
Himself, I have been both growing in my faith and helping others to
progress in biblical discernment. From attending seminary to serving
as a volunteer with a ministry to Mormons, I have been working to
glorify God through defending His truth.
At the same time, God has been preparing me to serve Him in East
Africa. My heart has truly been broken for Ugandans and their
challenges. I've even met pastors who have confessed having no place
to go and nothing to read on the errors that are spreading throughout
Africa. We understand the need for apologetics in America, why should
our brothers and sisters in Christ not have the same needs met in East
Africa?
Lord willing, our ministry will meet this challenge. Not that our
road ahead is easy. Moving a family of six half way around the world
and adjusting to life in Uganda will be difficult. Taking care of our
oldest daughter, who has type-1 diabetes, will take careful diligence.
Nevertheless, we know that this is where Christ wants us.
We invite you to join together with us to advance biblical discernment
and the defense of our common faith in East Africa!
Because of His grace,
